Drawing straight, accurate lines can be challenging when relying on a tape measure and a scrap of wood as a straight edge.  Now there's a better way, the new Woodpecker T-Square. Whether working off a factory cut edge or not, the Woodpecker T-Square will help you draw straighter, more accurate parallel lines in less time than you can imagine. In an instant, you can move your pencil from 75mm off the edge to 300mm and be dead-on without the need of a tape measure. Each Woodpecker T-Square consists of a precisely machined, laser engraved, aluminium blade perfectly fitted to a solid, billet handle with two support lips to prevent tipping and a perfectly machined edge for true squaring. The two critical parts are secured together with six precision socket screws.  This arrangement delivers top notch performance yet still allows for replacement of damaged blades. The blade itself has precisely spaced 1mm holes drilled every 1mm.  Stick a pencil in the hole, slide it along your work piece and presto, a perfectly spaced line accurately following the stock edge. The outer edges are machined to a 30 degree bevel for easy reading and laser engraved scales for measuring METRIC on the top edge and IMPERIAL on the bottom edge.  But wait...there's more...the smart folk at Woodpeckers have included additional holes at 32mm centres, perfect for setting out shelf pin positions and European style System 32 hardware mounting.

An accurate triangle (Set Square) is more useful for woodworkers then what one might think.  It simultaneously serves as a square for inside 90's and also for 45's.  In addition, unlike the open legs of a conventional square, a triangles angle leg solidly supports the two perpendicular legs.  Thus, this tool will hold its accuracy for a life time.   Each Precision Triangle comes with a handy protective storage case. Like all our precision measuring and layout tools, Woodpeckers manufactures the Bevel Triangles to very tight tolerances for the discriminating woodworker.  Each one is meticulously machined from solid aircraft grade aluminium plate, anodized for durability and laser engraved with high contrast METRIC scale markings. All perimeter edges of the bevel rule open down toward the surface of your work piece on a 30 degree angle dramatically improving the accuracy of line placement.   The two right angle legs have a standard 0 – 150mm, 300mm or 450mm scale and the angled leg has an even more useful centre scale. Centre scales have the zero in the middle with millimetre markings fanning out in both directions from there. The centre scale is a big time saver for locating the centre of your work piece and symmetrically laying out grooves, rebates or dowel locations.
